Because of these issues, you or your clients should ensure you update all supported versions of QuickBooks Desktop for Mac with the latest patch releases or, in the case of discontinued versions (2015 and 2016), avoid using QuickBooks Desktop on the new macOS Catalina or purchase an upgrade to the latest release of QuickBooks 2020 to ensure you are using a compatible version.
